imm cologne 2012 on the home straight

The countdown has started: in just a little more than a month from now, the next imm cologne will be opening its doors. From 16th to 22nd January 2012, everybody who's anybody will be presenting themselves in Cologne again. From international basics in living room and bedroom furniture to young lifestyles and the self-assembly segment, mattresses and sleeping systems, upholstered furniture, modern living-room, bathroom and solid wood furniture, furniture for kids and sophisticated interior design concepts, all the way to the premium and high-end segment - all of it will be on show in Cologne. For the first time, the extensive range of products covered by the "biggest furniture store in the world" will be extended even further, thanks to the numerous providers from the bathroom, flooring, wall coverings and lighting segments who will be exhibiting at the new parallel event LivingInteriors.

The exhibitors will be coming to Cologne from no fewer than 54 countries all over the world - yet a further increase of 18 percent in the international structure of the providers as compared to the previous event in 2011. Especially regarding Italy this development is satisfying: In comparison to 36 exhibitors in 2011 there are now 74 participants. In 2012 companies from the Ukraine, the Philippines, Luxemburg, Latvia, Lichtenstein and Chile will be attending the trade fair for the first time. Altogether imm cologne has registered a clear increase in exhibitors around seven percent (in comparison to imm cologne 2011 without LivingKitchen). The current forecast as to the amount of exhibition space that will ultimately be occupied amounts to a plus of five percent as compared to 2011.
